The place I’m going to is the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, about 25min from Kalamazoo.

I did that last year in Michigan. It almost has like a primitive cruise control. I'll be interested to see your thoughts I loved it

As I understand it, reverse being the lowest gear available, standard procedure for dealing with difficult inclines in a Model T is to turn around and reverse up the hill :)
